Good morning Goshen PTO members!! The Exec Committee is full of busy bees planning for a fantastic school year! I wanted to pass along the current Proposed PTO Slate of Officers and Chairpersons. The final proposed slate will be presented at our first meeting, which will be held on September 13, 2022, and then voted on at the October meeting. For planning purposes, we will meet on the second Tuesday of every month at 10am just like last year! Also, if you or someone else is interested in filling the currently vacant positions highlighted in yellow, please also reach out to me!
Last, Kindergarten Round Up is next Tuesday, August 2nd. Our vacancies in Beautification have left us in a lurch with cleaning up the front beds and bushes. If anyone can lend a helping hand, please let me know! We are also willing to make a landscaping company a sponsor at this year's Fall Festival if one is willing to jump on this and donate their time this fall starting now! Our usual contributions from local churches, etc., have not panned out yet. We are also looking for a creative and brave parent to be Gaston (Goshen's gator mascot) at K round up next Tuesday - please let me know if you are up for the task!
As always, we cannot thank the parents enough. Our Sign Up Geniuses for all Back to School Events are full, and we cannot spoil our teachers, staff, students and administration without the continued dedication and collaboration of our parents. We cannot wait to begin this school year!!!!
