Dear Goshen Families,

 

Thank you for your financial support throughout the years!  With the generosity from our families, we raise over $100,000 each school year which is utilized in many ways.  We have highlighted only a few below:

 

• Additional classroom funds for our Art, Drama, Music, PE, and STEM programs

• School Community Activities such as Goshen Skate Nights, Daughter Dances, Son Parties, Art Gala, Spring Fling and Fall Festivals

• The Science enrichment program with Louisville Science Center

• In the community we award two scholarships to graduating seniors that are Goshen Elementary Alumni

• Additional funds to our school’s technology budget

• Enhanced Playground equipment

 

With all the money we raise each year our main goal is to divert the cost of the items listed above so that more of the school’s budget can go towards keeping more teachers in the building.  The more teachers we have at Goshen Elementary, the lower the student to teacher ratio!  The PTO works hard to raise money to provide additional support to staff in the classrooms and provide benefits to all of our children.

 

We realize it is not always convenient or practical to participate in every fundraiser, so the PTO would like to offer an alternate option.  Consider giving a one-time donation with 100% of the funds going directly to the PTO’s operating budget. Donations are used to fund programs and expenses, including those listed above.

 

If you choose to donate, please visit the link above, or return the form you received from school with a check made payable to Goshen Elementary PTO.  Please note, due to distribution methods, you will still receive fundraising materials in your child’s Wednesday folder. You can ignore them or write “already donated” on the form and return it to the school.

Our annual suggested donations for families are: $85 for one child; $135 for two children; $160 for three or more children.
